Hello Lovlies!! Today I’m going to be talking a bit about ▲Tarot ▲
Some of you may already know about Tarot cards and how they can be used in our daily lives as a source to reflect inwardly on what kind of day we are having, what is needed for resolution, solving problems, and so on. It was my birthday last weekend and I did my cards and got probably the best ones ever which gave me an idea for this.

I was interested in learning a little about where Tarot came from…
Here’s a curious piece from the Wiki:
The English and French word tarot derives from the Italian tarocchi, which has no known origin or etymology. The singular term is tarocco, commonly known today as a term for a type of blood orange in Italian. When it spread, the word was changed to tarot in French and Tarock in German. There are many theories to the origin of the word, many with no connection to the occult. One theory relates the name “tarot” to the Taro River in northern Italy, near Parma; the game seems to have originated in northern Italy, in Milan or Bologna. Other writers believe it comes from the Arabic word طرق turuq, which means ‘ways’. Alternatively, it may be from the Arabic ترك taraka, ‘to leave, abandon, omit, leave behind’
The first Tarot cards ware seen to be documented around 1430 and 1450 in Milan, Ferrara and Bologna in northern Italy and quickly became popular during the 16th century

There are many extraordinary ways of reading Tarot cards and most of them will show you how to use them with a booklet included with the deck. Usually, there is the diamond layout, the cross and triangle spread, the planetary spread, the dream exploration spread, and so on. Look these up for more guidance, they’re awesome.

A dear mystic friend of mine showed me more intuitive way of laying out your cards. You spread out the cards on the floor and hover your right hand over them with keeping your left hand on your heart, then choose whichever card feels the highest energy. Once you pick as many as you need you can lay those out wherever it feels best, then flip them over and read them directly like a story (i.e. kindness card, sharing card, dream card means that producing kindness and sharing will move you towards your dream)
Tarot can be done in many ways, at many times and is best done with or without a particular question that you ask. Another thing, your cards should not be done twice in one day, and they are best kept in a black bag (so I’ve heard, I haven’t a black bag for mine)
You can get Tarot cards at any spiritual/mystic store in your town or on Amazon.com, but be sure to choose to pick cards that connect with you and your spirit and you’ll have tons of fun!!
